I like the uniqueness of this piece......but LOVE your description even more!
Skin, I like this much better then a black square. The subtle color play reminds me of polar ice.

Thanks for the compliments guys. This was originally gonna be a bowl, but part of it broke in the cooling, so I ground the resulting sharp edge down, and made the piece even more usless=8^)
